The European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) will open its doors to the public on Sunday 16 June 2024 from 13:30 to 18:00. Full information is available on the dedicated EDQM Open Day web page.
Join us for a fun-packed afternoon to discover how the EDQM contributes to public health, and what its contribution means for you and your loved ones’ health and well-being. It’s a rare opportunity to get behind-the-scenes access to the EDQM, meet the staff and enjoy activities such as videos, exhibitions, quizzes and games for all ages.
The visit will not just take you on a journey though the 60-year history of the EDQM, but also provide valuable information on topics such as:
- medicines;
- blood transfusion and donation;
- organ, tissue and cell donation and transplantation;
- consumer health products, such as cosmetics and tattoo inks.
