The MRP/DCP Product Testing Database was launched in July 2007. This tool allows for better co-ordination of the planning, sampling and reporting activities carried out within the Post Marketing Surveillance Scheme for Mutual Recognition Procedure (MRP)/Decentralised Procedure (DCP) products. It serves as a platform for information exchange on follow-up actions taken on the basis of test results. The database contains a powerful statistics, which generates figures and charts and allows for an in-depth analysis of the scheme. Several technical measures have been taken to guarantee data security and confidentiality.

Access is restricted to OMCLs actively involved in the scheme. In addition, read-only access is granted to users of the Communication and Tracking System (CTS), staff members of drug regulatory departments and pharmacovigilance units in National Competent Authorities (NCAs) and to GMP inspectors.
