The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) will take part in the international conference entitled “Collaboration, Innovation and Scientific Excellence: the European Pharmacopoeia 11th Edition”, organised by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) and to take place from 19 to 21 September 2022 in Strasbourg.
The IPC will participate in a session on the Pharmacopoeial Discussion Group (PDG) and will share their perspectives on pharmacopoeial harmonisation, having recently been invited to take part in the pilot project for global expansion of the PDG (“PDG welcomes Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission to pilot for global expansion”). The PDG brings together the European Pharmacopoeia, the Japanese Pharmacopoeia and the United States Pharmacopeia, with the World Health Organization as an observer.
After a two-year hiatus in such large-scale events imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the upcoming conference has attracted wide participation from all over the globe and represents a unique opportunity for experts and professionals to meet (both in person and virtually), exchange views and experience, and broaden their network.
Last-minute registrations for the EDQM international conference celebrating the 11th Edition of the European Pharmacopoeia may be sent to [email protected].
