About us

At the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM), over 400 staff members, representing more than 30 nationalities and dozens of professions, work together for better health for all. Through close collaboration with a global network of stakeholders and around 2000 experts covering a wide range of scientific disciplines, EDQM teams carry out numerous activities, all contributing to public health protection.

Your team

The team within which you will work, the Quality Section    of the Substances of Human Origin (SoHO) Division, is part of the  Intergovernmental Committees and Networks Department (ICND) and is based in Strasbourg.

Your tasks

  • Provide administrative support to working groups and the implementation of study programmes, liaising with experts and national authorities.
  • Format standard correspondence with experts, check translations and documents, prepare their distribution/publication and ensure filing and archiving.
  • Assist with the practical organisation of meetings (on-site or remote), events such as symposia, audits, consultations or training sessions.
  • Assist in the preparation of missions for the staff members concerned.
  • Keep expert records  up to date with contact details, CVs and declarations of interest.
  • Liaise with other departments involved in preparing documents for publication and updating web pages.
  • Process and follow up on production or purchasing requests related to the provision of samples or services as part of interlaboratory studies.

What we expect

  • Organised, adaptable, service-oriented and a true team player
  • Proficiency   in Office 365
  • Excellent command of English or French and good knowledge of the other language.
  • Nationality of one of the 46 member states of the Council of Europe

What we offer

  • Contract type: fixed-term contract (< 12 months)
  • Location: Strasbourg
  • Salary: 3 285 € (grade B1) or 3743 € (grade B2) per month (gross)
