Lyophilisation Manufacturing Manager

Lyophilisation (freeze-drying) is an important technique for the EDQM and we are looking for a highly qualified manufacturing project co-ordinator with strong communication skills and in-depth experience in freeze-drying to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be our lead on freeze-drying manufacturing projects for chemical and biological reference standards, ensuring delivery of products that meet the required specifications, on-time and within budget. He/she will also be the EDQM's technical reference point for manufacturing staff and internal clients on freeze-drying and will play a key role in driving continuous improvement projects.

Reception operator

Warehouse Support Assistant
Grade: B1/B2

Are you a motivated warehouse, stock management or logistics professional with a structured approach to work, a keen eye for accuracy and a taste for a job well done? Are you interested in contributing to the quality of medicines in Europe?
Then we might have the job for you. We are looking for someone to ensure the safe and efficient receipt and storage of EDQM stock in our two warehouses (Strasbourg and Metz) and to organise transfers of stocks between the two sites. 
As a warehouse support assistant at the EDQM, you will help manage inventory in the Strasbourg warehouse to make sure that customer orders can be dispatched quickly, enter (and check) information into our warehouse IT system and take part in stock control exercises.
You will also need to be comfortable working in cold storage rooms (at -20°) and with heavy loads and a good head for heights (up to 10 m).

Scientific Programme Manager – Pharmaceutical Care and Anti-Counterfeiting Programme

Scientific Programme Manager – Blood Transfusion

Short-term employment opportunities (up to 9 months in a calendar year) might become available to cover staff absences, periods of increased workload or to support specific projects. The contracts can be monthly or daily temporary contracts and can be an excellent way to gain experience or new skills. Traineeships

We are happy to welcome trainees to EDQM. For you it is a chance to gain valuable experience in a complex multi-cultural and stimulating work environment. For us, we benefit from the enthusiasm, motivation and skills that new graduates bring. To qualify for a traineeship, you should normally be in your final year of study in pharmacy, chemistry, biology or in a similar domain. Traineeships last for up to six months.
