Distribution Operator

Grade: C1/C2                                                                       

Salary: from €1 900¹per month (gross)                          

Contract Type: Turnover profile                                 

Location: Strasbourg (France)

Working hours: day shifts from 7.00 am to 1.00 pm or 12.45 pm to 6.45 pm from Monday to Friday (working time: 80%, alternating between morning shifts one week and afternoon shifts the next week).

Are you rigorous and work-orientated? Do you have a technical qualification in logistics and professional experience relevant to the profile? Do you wish to acquire valuable experience in the distribution of pharmaceutical reference standards and samples? We are looking for someone like you to contribute directly to providing the quality of service expected by the EDQM’s users.

Main responsibilities of the job: As a distribution operator, you will pack goods in accordance with shipping requirements and temperatures while ensuring that packages are marked and labelled appropriately. You will receive stock, load it into storage towers on release of reference standards and handle several heavy packages (from 10 to 35 kg) per day. Finally, you will record dispatch information into the database and monitor stock levels and update stock records.

Scientific Assistants - Certification of Substances Department

Grade: B4                                                                               

Salary: €4 175 (gross)   

Contract Type:  Renewable fixed term contract (5 years max)

Main responsibilities of the job: As a scientific assistant, you will undertake scientific evaluation of requests for CEP revisions, contribute to the validation of CEP applications on receipt, and prepare CEPs or provide technical support to the EDQM inspection programme of manufacturers of active pharmaceutical substances.

Short-term employment opportunities (up to 9 months in a calendar year) might become available to cover staff absences, periods of increased workload or to support specific projects. The contracts can be monthly or daily temporary contracts and can be an excellent way to gain experience or new skills. This type of contract cannot, however, lead to longer term employment - this is accessed through separate recruitment processes.
