Join the EDQM as an Innovation Project Officer (AI)!

Who we are:
At the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & Healthcare (EDQM), our vision is clear: “Together for better health, for all”. We contribute to  public health protection by engaging with an international community of experts and stakeholders. Now is your opportunity to join us in shaping global standards that ensure access to safe medicines and healthcare –standards recognised worldwide as the scientific benchmark for quality and trust.
Our standards for medicines and their ingredients, compiled in the European Pharmacopeia, are legally binding in 39 member states of the Council of Europe  and are also widely used across the globe in both the human and animal health sectors. Beyond medicines, we also play a crucial role in blood transfusion, organ, tissue and cell transplantation and in developing and setting consumer health standards, for everyday products such as cosmetics and food contact materials.

    • assisting with the identification, mapping and development of business cases and with return on investment (ROI) analyses aimed at leveraging AI to drive business success;
    • organising and chairing monthly meetings, ensuring effective, smooth and open communication as well as effective follow-up on key decisions.
  • conduct research on the latest trends and advancements in generative AI that could be applied to the EDQM’s activities, in order to identify potential applications and improvements;

  • prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders; supporting decision-making and the collective and co-ordinated advancement of AI within the EDQM;
  • collaborate closely with the Human Resources Section to increase AI competency of the EDQM staff and promote knowledge sharing;
  • support the EDQM Management team on strategic activities related to AI and innovation.
