Who we are:
At the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and Healthcare (EDQM), more than 400 staff members, representing over 30 different nationalities and dozens of different professions, work together for better health, for all. Our wide-ranging activities – all supporting public health – are made possible by close collaboration with a global network of stakeholders and around 2 000 experts from a wide variety of scientific disciplines. The EDQM’s work focuses on four major areas: medicinal products, substances of human origin, pharmaceutical care and consumer health.
Your team:
Supporting the EDQM, our Human Resources team is now looking for a new HR Operations Support Assistant, on a limited time assignment, to help us deliver our services to the organisation. Within the team, you will have a transversal role, providing support on operational HR tasks and projects.
Your tasks:
Your tasks will include activities in the areas of employer branding and recruitment, as well as learning and HR administration. You will also be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement and digitalisation of our processes.
Employer branding and recruitment:
- supporting our experienced recruiters in their operational tasks, such as helping with the organisation of interviews and handling purchase order requests and other administrative tasks, including reporting;
- talent acquisition, with the help of our available tools and service providers, in collaboration with our hiring entities, the Communication and Events Division and the HR network.
Learning and HR administration:
- supporting our colleagues experienced in the areas of learning and HR Administration in their operational tasks, such as preparing and handling logistics around training courses and handling purchase order requests and other administrative tasks, including reporting;
- taking on simpler HR operational projects, such as small-scale training requests and other HR administrative workflow-related tasks.
Continuous improvement:
- contributing to the quality of HR data through registration and cleaning of HR information in our current systems and implementation of data quality improvement activities.
- contributing to the modernisation of HR service delivery through setting up and maintaining digital tools as well as the development and monitoring of HR metrics and reports.
Who are we looking for
- You are dynamic, adaptable, service-oriented, curious to learn and a true team player.
- You have (at least) a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, human resources, IT or other relevant areas.
- You have professional experience in human resources, management support or administration.
- You have a strong interest in emerging technologies and demonstrate professional proficiency in Office 365, with advanced skills in Excel and a foundational understanding – or the ability to learn on the job –of analytical tools within the Microsoft 365 suite.
- You have experience with social media communication and ideally the use of the LinkedIn recruiter module.
- You have a very good knowledge of one of the official languages of the Council of Europe (English/French) and good knowledge of the other language.
To be eligible, you must have the nationality of one of the 46 member states of the Council of Europe.
