Session 3 will particularly focus on the quality and safety of medical products and healthcare and will be moderated by the EDQM Director Petra Doerr. It will explore the critical role of European and global regulatory bodies in safeguarding public health and provide an overview of how expert collaboration and shared mandates between EDQM / Council of Europe, EMA, WHO, and other stakeholders drive innovation and resilience in health protection. Thought-provoking panel discussions will touch upon topics such as falsified medical products and the evolving expectations of patients - especially youth. The session promises a rich exchange on how to uphold quality, safety, and human rights in an increasingly complex healthcare landscape.
