The European Pharmacopoeia Commission (EPC) is pleased to announce the appointment or reappointment of more than a thousand experts and chairs for the 2025–2028 term. We are grateful to see such strong engagement from the scientific community and deeply appreciate the time and knowledge these experts bring to the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.).
We warmly congratulate and thank all newly appointed and reappointed experts and chairs. Their dedication and active participation are essential to ensuring that the Ph. Eur. continues to safeguard public health and facilitate access to safe, high-quality medicines in more than 130 countries. Behind every monograph and general chapter adopted by the EPC lies the collaborative work of experts from national authorities, industry, academia, research organisations and many others, united in developing harmonised standards for medicines and their ingredients across Europe and beyond.
To make the best use of this expertise, the EPC regularly reviews opportunities for new candidates to join its expert network. New applications will be considered during upcoming sessions, starting with the 184th session in March 2026. We invite interested candidates to apply and become part of this international network of experts shaping standards that protect citizens and build trust in medicines. A new group on environmental sustainability will soon be open to applications, so stay tuned for more details.
We look forward to another three years of fruitful collaboration for the benefit of public health worldwide.
