Middle East supply chain disruptions - Update

Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, several airspaces and major routes remain closed or heavily restricted, causing significant disruption to air freight. Airlines continue to suspend flights or impose temporary embargoes.

Affected destinations: Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the Dammam area (Saudi Arabia), Iran, the United Arab Emirates.

Lufthansa Cargo has extended restrictions:

  • no bookings accepted until 5 April for Amman, Beirut, Dammam, Dubai (DXB/DWC), Erbil, Tel Aviv and Tehran;
  • inbound embargo for Dubai (DXB/DWC) until 5 April;
  • flight suspensions: Beirut until 28 March; Tehran until 30 April.

Other airlines (AF KLM, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Cargolux, Etihad/Wizz) report severe operational limitations, route closures and prioritisation of repatriation flights, reducing available cargo capacity.

We continue processing your orders in our system. However, dispatches to or transiting through the affected destinations remain on hold until stable logistics solutions are restored.

We will keep you informed as the situation develops.
