Are you a dynamic scientist specialised in the field of quality control, regulation or inspection of blood-derived medicinal products, biologicals or blood components? Do you want to learn and further develop your skills and knowledge in the area of blood transfusion by developing and implementing projects related to the ethical, legal and organisational aspects of blood transfusion? Do you have the communication and teamwork skills required to support blood establishments to ensure that the blood and blood components supplied to European citizens are of the highest possible quality, while increasing availability and avoiding waste through their optimal use and distribution? Main responsibilities of the job: As a Scientific Programme Manager, you will help draft guides and develop guidelines and/or co-ordinate and promote co-operation activities to improve quality, safety and ethical standards for the collection, storage and distribution of blood and blood components by European Blood Establishments (for example, EDQM Blood Guide, the Blood Quality Management Programme [B-QM], the Blood Proficiency Testing Scheme Programme [B-PTS]).
