CombiStats™ is a software application developed at the EDQM to perform calculations as described in Chapter 5.3 of the European Pharmacopoeia. The primary objective of these webinars is to provide an interactive demonstration of the main functionalities of the CombiStats™.
Webinar 1, 05 October 2021: A Beginner’s Guide to CombiStatsTM
This introductory webinar will provide participants with an understanding of the basic principles of CombiStats™, how it works and what it can do. It will also show how the application can be used in a variety of situations, accompanied by practical examples of analyses and interpretation of results.
The webinar will take place on 05 October, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (CEST, Paris, France).
Webinar 2, 07 October 2021: Session for Experienced CombiStatsTM Users (for licenced users only)
This session is for advanced users of the application. The aim is to provide more experienced users with valuable information to help them master CombiStatsTM. Participants are invited to send in questions relating to problems they have experienced with CombiStats™ or about the application more generally prior to the session. These will then be discussed during the webinar.
The webinar will take place on 07 October, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (CEST, Paris, France).
Participants are encouraged to read the document ‘Statistical analysis of results using CombiStats’ before joining this webinar. It has been written with the purpose of answering FAQs about assay designs, statistical models and the analysis and interpretation of results.
Participants should send their practical examples to the EDQM at least one week before the start of the webinar and no later than 30 September. Please note that all data sent should be anonymised so that it can be shared with the participants. Please email your examples to DBO_Stat@edqm.eu, with the subject ‘CombiStats Webinar 2’.
Time will be set aside for Q&A in both webinars.
Who should attend?
Participation is free of charge.
These webinars are for professionals from the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory agencies and academic institutions who are responsible for the analysis and interpretation of assay data but who have no fundamental training in statistics.
