Programme Overview

 

The CombiStatsTM software was developed at the EDQM to perform calculations according to chapter 5.3 of the European Pharmacopoeia (5th Edition to 10th Edition). The primary objective of these webinars is to provide insights into the main functionalities of the CombiStats™ software, which will be illustrated with demonstrations of the tool.

Webinar 1, 06 October 2020: A Beginner’s Guide to CombiStatsTM

This webinar aims to provide participants with the basic principles and an understanding of the CombiStats™ software, how it works and what it can do. It will also demonstrate the practical use of the software in a variety of situations and will include examples and interpretation of the results.  

Webinar 2, 08 October 2020: Session for Experienced CombiStatsTM Users (for licenced users only)

This session is for advanced users of the software. During this session, the solutions for selected questions provided in advance by participants will be discussed.  It is aimed to provide experienced users with valuable information in becoming more proficient with CombiStatsTM.

Participants should send their practical examples to the EDQM at least one week before the start of the webinar, not later than 30 September. Please note that the data should be sent anonymised in order for it to be shared with the participants.

During both webinars, there will be plenty of time for live Q&A.

 

Who should attend?

Participation is free of charge.

These webinars are for professionals from the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory agencies and academic institutions who are responsible for the analysis and interpretation of assay data but who have no fundamental training in statistics.

 

System Requirements

No special software is necessary for the webinar. If you wish to connect to audio using VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) you will need a fast Internet connection, a microphone and speakers. A USB headset is recommended. The VoIP connection is free.

You are strongly advised to consult your IT Department to ensure your computer can receive the webinar and that the following domain names are neither rejected nor blocked as spam, otherwise you will not receive the link to connect to the webinar: @gotowebinar.com and @care.gotowebinar.com.
