The European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM)/Council of Europe (CoE) is organising a FREE training course on audit practices for blood establishments, with the support of the European Commission.
Auditing, in addition to being a key driver in the continual improvement of quality management system (QMS), contributes to ensuring compliance with regulatory and technical requirements, as well as organisational success. This is emphasised in the applicable European Union blood legislation, the Good Practice Guidelines (GPGs) and the Guide to the preparation, use and quality assurance of blood components from the EDQM/CoE.
This free training course, the 5th European Training Course on Quality Management for Blood Establishments, will support blood establishments by providing their staff responsible for conducting internal and external audits with the sound knowledge of audit practices they need to develop and implement robust auditing processes. It will be delivered in four self-training modules over four weeks beginning 12 September 2022, followed by one last module presented during live online sessions over five days from 10 to 14 October 2022.
