Quality Management
The EDQM extends its ISO 9001:2008 Certificate
In order to sustain our vision and mission and to guarantee the best products and services to our customers and stakeholders; the EDQM is implementing a Quality Management System based on the following International Standards:
- ISO 9001:2008 Quality management systems - Requirements;
- ISO/IEC 17025:2005 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories;
- ISO Guide 34:2009 General requirements for the competence of reference materials producers; and
- ISO/IEC 17043:2010 Conformity assessment - General requirements for proficiency testing.
Safety Management
Safety Data Sheets
Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are prepared in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and the Council. This is done using recognised sources such as EUR-Lex, ESIS, ECHA, EMA, OECD Chemportal, WHO/ATC/IARC, supplier information and scientific literature. The official SDS in English are available in the Reference Standards database.
Environmental Management
As part of its Environmental Management System, the EDQM is taking part in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. For more information, click HERE.
