Nationals of one of the Council of Europe's member states or Nationals of Belarus can apply as long as candidates have:
- a university diploma or equivalent in pharmacy, chemistry or pharmacotechnologies or related subjects, and for whom practical training is part of their professional qualification. In this case, the traineeship will take place over a period of not more than six months following a pre-established programme.
- a university diploma or equivalent and/or who are working on a thesis. Under these conditions, the traineeship takes place over a period of not less than three months with a defined research project. This project is chosen with the EDQM and/or the University in which the candidate is conducting their research work.
Other skills required
- Trainees must have a very good knowledge of one of the Council of Europe's official languages (English and French). A good knowledge of the other is desirable.
- Good drafting ability required.
Trainees are selected in agreement with the departments to which they are assigned by the EDQM Director following the principle of fair geographical distribution.
The duties to which trainees are assigned include research, the preparation of draft reports and studies for meetings of experts and the drafting of minutes. We would like to specify that we do not offer traineeships in translation and interpretation.
