Catalogue of European Pharmacopoeia Reference Standards

(15/11/2011) A new, online catalogue for the European Pharmacopoeia Reference Standards is now available. It is divided into two parts:

The ‘Terms of Supply and Instructions for Use’ can be downloaded from the EDQM website
To download a catalogue of European Pharmacopoeia Reference Standards, go direct to our reference standard database. The catalogue is updated daily and lists all Ph. Eur. reference standards available with batch numbers, quantity, storage conditions, and prices. Orders may be placed using the online ordering form on our web site.

Withdrawal of monographs from the European Pharmacopoeia

(27/09/11) The European Committee on Pharmaceuticals and Pharmaceutical Care (CD-P-PH) has decided to set 1st July 2012 as the date on which the chosen monographs shall cease to form part of the European Pharmacopoeia. Read the Resolution AP-CPH (11) 7

Enquiry on the introduction of the degree of hydration in monograph titles

(26/09/11) Monographs elaborated before 2000 will be revised for the 8th Edition of the European Pharmacopoeia. Users are requested to send their comments and information via an online survey by 31 March 2012.
