The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) and EDQM are pleased to announce their joint symposium on ‘Drug Standards and Regulatory Updates’ on 26 to 27 April in Mumbai, India. The programme covers the roles of the European and Indian Pharmacopoeia Commissions in the quality control of medicines and provides an overview of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements in Europe and India, as well as practical advice on how to comply with medicines regulations for API Exports to the European Union (EU).
The EDQM is a Directorate of the Council of Europe, the continent’s leading human rights organisation. It is responsible for the Secretariat of the European Pharmacopoeia Commission and for preparing the General Chapters and Monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia which promotes public health by the provision of standards for the quality of medicines and their components.
