Programme Overview
The software has been developed at the EDQM and can perform calculations according to Chapter 5.3 of the European Pharmacopoeia 5th Edition to 7th Edition. The primary objective of this training session is to provide insights into the main functionalities proposed in the CombiStatsTM software, illustrated with demonstrations of the tool. The programme will focus on the practical use of the software in a variety of situations. Each session will include examples and exercises.
The range of sessions will include:
- An overview of classes of bio-assays and fundamental principles;
- The general layout, selecting options and setting up templates;
- Presentation of the different Models, Designs, Dose-response curves and Transformations;
- Syntax, responses and interpreting input and output;
- A closer look at advanced options and importing and exporting data.
Step-by-step training that is easy to understand and follow. Staff will be on-hand to answer your questions and help resolve frequently encountered problems.

PLUS: OPTIONAL ‘EXERCISE WORKSHOP' at no extra cost
This optional Exercise Workshop is particularly addressed to participants wishing to discover more of the functionalities offered by CombiStatsTM and gain more practical experience in handling data.
Who should attend?
This training session should be attended by professionals from the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory agencies and academic institutions who are responsible for the analysis and interpretation of assay data but who have not fundamental training in statistics. Participants are expected to have some experience with biological data and basic concepts such as parallel line analysis.
Registration Fees
Using the Registration Form (Paper Format), the fee is:
- 650 EUR for a delegate from industry or for a consultant; and
- 300 EUR for a delegate from a national authority or academia.

- 250 EUR for a delegate from a national authority or academia.
This fee includes all documentation, lunches, and refreshments throughout the day. It does not include accommodation and travel expenses.
