Background & missions
On 11 and 12th July 2007, the Ministers’ Deputies agreed the transfer of the activities related to pharmaceutical issues from the Partial Agreement in the Social and Public Health Field to the EDQM as of 1 January 2008.
The following Committees are involved in the carrying-out of the activities on pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical care in the frame of the EDQM. More information........
Organisation & Work Programme
The following Commiittes of experts are involved in the carrying out of the activities on pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical care:
- Committee of Experts on the classification of medicines as regards their supply (CD-P-PH/PHO),
- Committee of Experts on quality and safety standards in pharmaceutical practices and pharmaceutical care (CD-P-PH/PC),
- Committee of Experts on minimising the public health risks posed by counterfeiting of medical products and related crimes (CD-P-PH/CMED).
