European Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation, 23 October 2010

(17/06/10) European Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation is an important initiative of the Council of Europe. It is hosted every year by a different member state with the aim of encouraging debate on these social questions, and thereby helping organ donation and transplantation progress. World Blood Donor Day is dedicated to raising public awareness of the importance of giving blood and to thanking those who, through their generosity, save lives every day. International Conference on Counterfeit Medical Products paves the way to Landmark Convention aimed at Protecting Public Health
(16/04/10) More than 140 participants, senior officials from health, law enforcement and judicial authorities from around 40 states, international organisations and institutions from around the world came together on 15 and 16 April 2010 in Basel to discuss the practical implementation of the future Council of Europe MEDICRIME Convention.
