Since 1994, several coordinated European control programmes have been set up. These activities are covered by the Official Medicines Control Laboratories Network (OMCL Network), including quality management activities. The EDQM is looking for a Scientific Programme Officer – Pharmaceutical Care and Anti-Counterfeiting Programme (Grade A1/A2)

It recommends that Council of Europe member states implement measures to reduce health risks arising from exposure of infants to cosmetic products and their ingredients.
